Our Leadership
Meet the passionate team leading New Vision for Africa's work in Zambia and beyond.

Rev. Abednego R. Mambwe & Maggie Mambwe
Born in Luanshya and raised in Kasempa, Rev. Abednego R. Mambwe's life was transformed by the love of an American missionary, Ms. Marion Davis, who came to Zambia in 1964 as a teacher at Mukinge Girls' School. She adopted 12 children, including Rev. Mambwe, teaching him that love knows no borders.
That early experience of grace ignited in him a passion for service. After attending Bible school in Ndola, he embraced ministry and later founded New Vision for Africa — a reflection of his journey and a commitment to care for the vulnerable, inspire young leaders, and spread the hope of Christ.
Alongside his devoted wife, Maggie, he has raised five children and seven grandchildren. Maggie's heart for women and children continues to inspire NVFA's mission through her life's work "Woman of Honor", honoring women who shaped Zambia's independence.
Together, they built NVFA to be a beacon of love, hope, and leadership for generations to come.
